Ford Windstar Problem

Ford Windstar has encountered a few problems with its line. Many online forums have been discussing this problems and have shuttled opinions back and forth, hoping to find solutions to these problems. Albeit minor defects the occurrence has been disturbing, Some of the more frequent problems are related to brakes, transmission, engine, defroster, molding on the frames of the doors, radio cuts out, short in the wiring system under the hood.

Main problem was its transmission. It would slip sometimes and jerk when just starting or backing up. The engine light warning also became a problem lighting up even when there is nothing wrong, just starting out with short bursts of blinking then a constant glowing. Mechanics have to disconnect the engine warning light. One more problem was the head gasket leaking, if unnoticed this could lead to the engine giving up. Ford has recently recalled the issue with the faulty head gasket and has put attention towards this issue. Ford Motors Company has since discontinued the production of this car model for further tests and optimization.
